The East Area of
Colorado Springs consists of mostly developed neighborhoods. These are situated on the gently rolling hills along
Academy Blvd. The homes are mostly single family homes, but you'll also find a variety of townhomes and condos.
Residents will find themselves close to a hospital, several healthcare facitilites, restaurants, entertainment
venues and shopping. Although the area isn't adjacent to I-25, other areas of town are accessible by a variety
of roadways that run through the East Area. For instance, the Powers Corridor is just about a five minute drive
to the east.The East Area School District is Colorado Springs District 11.
