East Platte and East Boulder These areas are some of the older areas of central Colorado Springs. On the east, you'll find Memorial Park, while on the west, downtown Colorado Springs. There are mature trees and smaller, less-expensive homes. There are also a few pockets of larger, well-kept homes that fetch prices nearing $300,000. Many of the homes in these areas have a lot of character because of the renovations they've seen over time.
