University Park The University Park neighborhood is northwest of Union Blvd and Austin Bluffs Pkwy. It lies just east of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Despite the name, the area includes just a portion of the original University Park constructed in the 1990s. The homes are relatively new (some still being constructed) and values continue to climb due to enforcement of covenants and pride of ownership.
