| Brookside is one of the older areas south of downtown Colorado Springs. It includes a
portion of historic Ivywild. Most of the homes in Brookside are inexpensive ranchers with single-car garages. The area is
split down the middle by South Nevada Avenue. This area is close to shopping and also some smaller, mom n' pop restaurants
