The Rock Creek Area is along Hwy 115 south of Colorado Springs. Near hundreds of acres of serene Fort Carson training land, there aren't many neighbors in sight. Often lots are five acres or more and back to National Forest Land. Some communities in this area have their own water districts and fire departments. The landscape is hilly with cacti, scrub oak and rock outcroppings. Southwestern-style housing fits in very well in this area, but you'll also see Colorado Lodge style and more traditional architecture, as well.

The Rock Creek School District is Fountain Fort Carson District 8.
